Estevan is a Wet-Plate photographer who is currently living and working in Yokohama, Japan. He is releasing a photography book that encompasses his work from the last decade and wanted an identity system to keep it cohesive. After extensive research on vintage Wet-Plate and Tin-Type camera and photographers, we wanted to keep that vintage aesthetic moving forward. We designed several badges and marks that could be used separately and as a part of a larger whole. The main logotype mimics the classic heritage of famous marks from the past, but with a cleaner, more modern touch. The logotype and script used throughout are hand drawn specifically for this client.
